When you are talking about silk sheets, there two types that you need to know about because there is a really big difference. There are two kinds of silk... wild silk and cultivated silk.
Wild silk comes from silk worms that spin their cocoons out in the wild. These silk worms eat all kinds of leaves and that means that their silk is of much lower quality. Cultivated silk comes from silk worms in captivity and they only eat mulberry leaves. This silk is of much higher quality and it a lot more expensive. But there is a very clean difference between these types of silk and if you are going to buy silk sheets then you really need to get pure mulberry silk sheets.
You can tell wild silk from mulberry silk mainly because it will not be called mulberry silk but hyboti silk.
